TAMPERE 1994



In honour of the 77th anniversary of Finnish independence (6.12.1994), Andersson and Juutilainen ate a 77 cm long black sausage, a speciality of the Tampere-region in Finland, together with a glass of spring water. They were dressed in black diving-suits. The performance, which also drew the attention of occasional bypassers, took place in the showcase window of the Lord restaurant in Tampere and was arranged by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tampere.
