KOTKA 1994



At the opening of the Christmas-exhibition in gallery Uusikuva in Kotka (9.12.1994), the hands and feet of Andersson and Juutilainen were tied and chained onto a table made of rough wood. Dressed only in a Christmascap and a cloth they ate a traditional Finnish Christmas meal directly from the table, using only their mouths, trying to get the feeling animals have when they eat. The table, which was stained by the food, and a video of the performance, was displayed in the exhibition.
